Chicken Gravy Mix
This "chicken gravy" isn't just for chicken. Try it with pork, turkey or just because!
- 1 ⅔ cups cornstarch
- 6 tbsp chicken bouillon powder or preferred bouillon flavor
- 2 tsps onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp parsley
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp paprika
Mix all ingredients in an airtight container.
To make into gravy, mix 3 tablespoons of the dry mix with 1 ½ cups water or broth) in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil and simmer for one minute or until thickened.
You can replace the chicken bouillon with any flavor including vegetable bouillon to suit your needs and tastes.
Try replacing the chicken bouillon with chicken stock or broth for a more intense flavor.
