Table Talk: 3 Easy Homemade Seasoning Mixes to Rock Your Cooking!

These 3 easy homemade seasoning mixes are really handy to keep around the kitchen and will help you raise your cooking to a whole other level! You can use these seasoning blends in a variety of recipes and I will be showcasing them in several of my future recipes.

Did you know that preservatives such as MSG are in some of the pre-made seasoning blends we buy at the store? Making these homemade seasoning mixes yourself, you are going to feel more secure in knowing only the best will be put on your table.
I used to just use salt and pepper since I had no experience with the incredible number of herbs and spices that were out there. It showed in my cooking. Yes, it was good (sometimes) but it was blah. The uses of spices not only make the foods taste good in general but also enhances the flavors already present in the main ingredients. You will find my master list of herbs and spices below.
A Few Tips
Keep your spices sealed tightly. Moisture and humidity will make your seasonings clump or even solidify. One trick to use if you are in a high humidity area is to put a few grains of rice in the jar. These will absorb any moisture that will sneak its way inside. You could also store them in the freezer. This is helpful for the finer seasonings such as onion and garlic powders.
