Creamy Crock Pot Ranch Chicken

Creamy Crock Pot Ranch Chicken

It is an amazing experience to walk in the door after a not-so-great workday and have the aromas of this creamy crock pot ranch chicken dinner capture you mid-stride! What is better than that? The fact that you didn’t have to cook it yourself, that’s what. That is the joy of the crock pot. You set it up in the morning and forget it until you come home.

Welcome to the first in my Crocktober series of delicious recipes just perfect for these cooler months. We made it through an unbearably hot summer and now we get to relax a bit with some good old comfort food.

Each Friday in the month of October, I will serve you up a delicious and cozy crock pot recipe.

Creamy Crock Pot Ranch Chicken only has 4 ingredients so it is super fast and easy to put together. It is a pleasure to find meals that take minimal effort and give maximum taste.

A Few Tips

For faster cleanup, I use crock pot liners. They have saved me a lot of time since discovering these little blessings. Spraying the crock can only insure you so much when it comes to keeping things from baking on and I would rather relax with my husband after dinner than spend forever trying to scrub the crock pot.

You can use a packet of Ranch Dressing Mix instead of measuring it out from bulk for this recipe. It has the right measurements. If you would like my recipe for Ranch Dressing Mix, you can find it here.

Just about anything made in a crock pot can also be prepared ahead of time to make into freezer meals. I am a major fan of these dump-and-go meals. You can put everything you would put in the crock pot into a gallon zip-lock baggie. The night before you want to cook it, pull it out of the freezer and thaw overnight in the fridge. The next morning, line the crock pot, dump the contents in and go on your merry way!
